Feeling pretty in PTAH Accessories

March 15, 2017

Hello beautiful people! Happy Humpday to you all, and we meet again with a very pretty post. Today’s post is in collaboration with an Indian Imitation jewellery brand, called PTAH Accessories, pronounced as “ta:” In Egyptian mythology, Ptah is the demiurge of Memphis, god of craftsmen and architects. Well, I couldn’t agree more, their jewellery is a work of art.

I’m absolutely swooned by the craftsmanship and the intricate details on their jewellery. PTAH accessories is  an E-store housing, chic feather hair accessories & statement Indian jewellery. It was conceptualised by Swati Goel, based in Mumbai and founded on the concept that “Accessories make the Outfit” !! Very true isn’t it? You can make any look captivating, and chic by accessorising. I totally believe in this, and I live by it. Today’s look is based on this exact same concept.

As you all know by now, I’m a sucker for statement pieces, earrings in particular! There is a little story behind how we partnered, PTAH accessories was looking for bloggers to promote their brand on Instagram. A good friend of mine, came across this post, and she suggested that I contact them. I sent a casual message, and they responded very promptly, I was surprised, as most of the brands I’ve tried to contact on Instagram, has almost never worked for me! So, I tell them a little about myself, and share my details, and then we took it from there. I’ve to mention, Swati, was extremely sweet and patient with me. She was open to suggestions, and requested feedback. She gave me ample time to work on this post, when I told her my health was going downhill, and I had to take some time off. I really have to thank her for this opportunity, and the patience she had with me. She is very warm, and welcoming! I was extremely moved by her gesture, when she sent me 2 of their best selling jewellery for my post. One being, the the nosepin that I’ve featured in this post, and the other is a pair of earrings.

As much as, I wanted the earrings to be paired with an Indian attire, unpredictable weather in Dallas, didn’t permit me to. But, I had a way out, after all, accessories make the outfit. I styled this look by pairing a sweater with a maxi skort. “Skort?” is that even a thing? Well, it sure is! These are shorts that resembles skirts in appearance. Since, the cold was unbearable, I slipped some warm leggings underneath them. Talk about layering, right?! Also, I added a slim belt to give the skort some definition. It’s a slightly unconventional look, nothing like I’ve featured before, but it totally worked in my favour! Loved the contrast between, black and mustard, and the additional bling with these gorgeous Kundan Stone Earrings.
