Heeelloooooo!! Why such a long hello, you ask? Because, It has been a long time since, I posted something, and this happens to be my first post for the month of May! This month is usually a little crazy, May is my birthday month, and I’m out travelling! I spent my birthday in the gorgeous Key west, Florida with my husband, Inji, and a couple of friends! It was a beautiful weekend, and I cannot thank enough for all those lovely people who made it special. Key west story will be updated soon on the blog, in the travel section, stay tuned! So, It’s really hard to manage the blog when I’m on the go, and once I’m back, laziness strikes!! I’m constantly in the,”take me back to my vacay” phase, and all that I do is drool over those pictures from the vacay. *Sigh* Story of my life! Is it just me, or do you all feel the same way? Let me know in the comments below.

Once I was back, I gathered all my motivation to dress myself up, and do a quick shoot. Luckily, my outfits are decided at least a month in advance or else, I would sit in my closet wondering what would be my next outfit! Or worse, gaping at closet full of clothes, and cribbing about how I’ve nothing to wear. I decided to do a casual/formal outfit look for today’s post, without having to undergo a major transformation. All that I’ve used here is a few key pieces to alter the look. Actually, I would like to call this a “Constant and Variable” look. Constants here are, white shirt, plaid pants, shoes, bag, and sunnies. Variables are bow tie, blazer, and hairstyle 🙂

So, the first one is a cute casual look. I associate this look with, “going-out-with-my-girlfriends” look, just because it is perfect for a Sunday brunch with your girlfriends. I have paired a plain white shirt with a plaid pants, and to add a cute factor, I’ve worn a bow tie (psssst! Technically, it is a hair clip, made to look like a bow tie :P) I’ve worn my hair differently as opposed to the usual. I have parted my hair, twisted the top few strands, and secured it tightly using bobby pins. A very simple yet, cute hairstyle, this is perfect for those who like to leave their hair open but, would like to avoid hair on the face.

The second one is a slightly formal look, I’ve changed the hairstyle back to my usual, and have worn a hot pink peplum blazer over the white shirt. Can you believe, how adding or removing few key pieces, and changing the hairstyle can transform a look in seconds?? I’ve kept the shoes, and the bag constant in both the looks as they are perfect for both formals, and casuals. I’m in love with both the looks, how about you? And, I hope you liked reading this post, thumbs you if you do.

  1. Oh my gosh this is one of my favorite looks on you thus far! It is so fun and eclectic I cant get enough of the colors. I love all of the pink pieces that you incorporated in this look and how it brings out the red stripes in your plaid trousers. Plus the navy blue looks great with the bold colors. Fabulous job with this outfit!

    1. omg! Thank you so much for the comment Vivienne! 🙂 I totally second that, for me, a white shirt is a wardrobe staple! Every girl/guy must have it in their closet. I love your white shirt, and the way you’ve style it. It’s simple yet chic 🙂 Have a great day love xx

  2. Love both the looks on you Supritha! Pink looks so good on you.
