I know spring was here but, I didn’t realize it was going to be this awesome! I mean the weather is gorgeous, love the colors, and, fresh smell from the blossoms! Perfect! It just gave me lot more reasons to pull some beautiful dresses out of my closet. So, one evening, we decided to take a stroll out in the park, I donned this adorable geometric print dress. Today’s post is all about the geometric game I played with this dress that evening.

Apparently, my closet is designed to hold all the clothes that I wanna wear in the future 😛 I bought this dress last year, just because I fell in love the print. And, I have so many such impulsive buys that I’m trying put in place to wear them often. With a new segment on my Instagram account called “Shoot and Blog”, I’m able to organize my outfits, looks, and post better. This is just a tip/suggestion for all you impulsive buyers like me, place all the clothes that you’ve bought, and never worn first on your clothing rack. And, add the once you’ve worn at the end. By doing so, you’re always reminded of what you’ve not worn, and you will not repeat them as often as you would.

I usually plan my outfits, and looks, weeks before I actually post them. The only thing I usually get lazy with is the blogging part. I had posted the outfit, and the look already on Instagram, and to be honest, I’ve been pushing myself to write about this look. Finally, today is that auspicious day 😀 Initially, when I started blogging, I decided to keep it extremely simple with the whole blogging step. I wanted to just post pictures, and write a few words about the look. Sometimes, I wanna go back to that but, then the whole purpose of blogging is lost if I do so. However hard it is to plan, and blog amidst all the commitments I’ve, it gives me great sense of satisfaction once I write something. And, with all the love, and support of all my readers, I feel even more motivated to do better after every post. So, thanks to all my readers for liking, and commenting on my posts, it gives me immense pleasure to read your thoughts on my page! 🙂

About the look….This dress is from Forever 21, I bought last year, I paired it with a chambray crop jacket in beige from Jane Norman. I used earthy tones to play along with the look so, I wore these brown gladiators with outfit. And, to match them I carried a leather satchel for the look. To accessorize, I wore these blue mirrored sunnies, and a tiny cubic necklace. I absolutely loved this look, it was very easy to carry, and perfect for spring. I hope you liked this look, thumbs you if you do. I would love to read your thoughts on this look so, leave a comment below 🙂

  1. Hi Supritha,
I love this look on you. Love the printed dress and shoes.
I am in the same boat as you for the closet management. I don’t know what I have and where. Some of the unworn clothes even have the tags on them. Some of the looks I wore and took pictures did not even make it to the blog. Blogging is hard work, but it is rewarding in its own way.
Really like reading your posts. Keep it coming girl!
