Is it wrong to snip your man’s shirt just because, you’re too greedy for clothes, and a closet full of clothes isn’t enough for you? Well, I don’t think so! 😀 Today’s post is about how I up cycled my husband’s old shirt (I wouldn’t recommend tearing apart his favorite shirt :P), and transformed it into this off shoulder top. The transformation is very simple, you can either use a fabric glue or sewing method according to your comfort. I used fabric glue to hem the raw edges, and elastic band to create the gathered look. Let me know in the comments section below, if you’d like to see a tutorial on this 🙂
About this look: Clearly, the shirt is oversized for me 😀 so, I decided to cinch the waist with a bold belt with a gold clasp. To add a pop of color, and to match my lips, I wore my favorite pair of heels in red-orange hue. I added gold accents for this look so, I accessorized with gold cuffs, and spiked necklace from my first Rocksbox set. For those who do not know what Rocksbox is, it is a jewelry rental company which, gives you unlimited access to rent from an ever-rotating closet of designer jewelry. If you become a Shine insider, you get to rent 3 pieces of hand-selected designer jewelry based on, your style, and specific request. You can return your Rocksbox set anytime and as often as you like. You can also, buy any piece from your set, each month you have $10 in Shine Spend to apply towards a purchase. The best part is, it provides you with free shipping both ways.
Thank you for reading, I hope you liked this look 🙂 Happy Easter, and have a great weekend everyone. Stay stylish 🙂
