♥♥ Satin and Sequins ♥♥

January 28, 2016

Hello my lovely peeps!! Firstly, Happy New Year (I know its a bit too late for the wishes but, please accept my apologies). This is my first blog post for the year 2016, I hope you all have a great year. Stay blessed. Secondly, I owe you guys a huge apology, for not being able to post anything on my blog, and delaying all my posts. I was tangled in a lot of things beginning this month, from moving to a new place, family time, traveling, and of course real-life busyness! (Can’t top that one!). January is a special month for me, as I celebrated my first marriage anniversary on the 23rd, and we  were on a cruise to Bahamas (More on this, later on the blog) 🙂 So, as you can imagine, it requires a lot of time, and planning which, was the primary reason for my inability to post!! I hope you guys can forgive, and continue supporting me like you always have. That’s what keeps me going! Moving on…

I’m sharing my NYE look on today’s post. I was so excited for this year especially, because I was celebrating my first marriage anniversary. I can’t believe it’s already been a year, and life is beginning to change (Definitely, for the good). It was a special one ♥♥ Anyways, I kissed 2015 goodbye with this little black dress of mine. It might seem to be a safe option but, hey! If there is one night to turn on the flash, it’s New Year’s Eve, and I would love to do so with some satin, and sequins. For the record, If had”nothing to wear” on the New Year’s Eve, I’d be writing this from underneath my pile of a mess and outfits. Luckily, when I had a bit of my crisis, this sequin dress promised to make me shine after the stroke of midnight. Admit it, we all face “I’ve nothing to wear” situation, and especially during the new year. Well, that’s just how it is and how it’ll always be. But let’s be honest here, we adore the frenzy of both Christmas and NYE party outfits. We love the fashion drama that comes with it, for 2 reasons: extra shopping and playing dress up.

Finally, I was really happy with my decision, and decided to go with my gut instinct! Phew! Life can be so hard at times 😛 This dress is also my favorite, I love the look, and feel of it. The neck being the highlight of the same, it is perfect for NYE. I styled this dress with a all-sequin blazer, for the sequin, and satin look. I accessorized with the diamond earrings, and a party clutch. That’s it for today folks, I hope you all liked this look, let me know what you NYE look was in the comment section ♥♥
