Hello everyone!! Isn’t it always nice to see colors? I love colors, i’m very expressive with them. It’s an instant mood changer, especially, during winters! Don’t get me wrong but, colors makes you stand out against all the dull, and boring shades of black or grey! I’m not saying its bad but, personally, colorful clothes makes me happy! In my previous post, I spoke about layering. I’ve employed today’s look based on the same fact using a long cardigan.
Long cardigans + Leggings/Stockings + Booties is just the right balance of so comfortable and totally presentable. More so, this season with the reinvention of the classic cardigan. And, for the past decades cardigans were basically waist length, somewhat fitted sweaters. Today they’re that and much more…..! Cardigans from knee-lengths to floor-lengths are massive, in chunky knits for that bohemian look, as well as thin fabrics, lace, mesh that look like floor-length trenches. Draped cardigans, aztec printed, striped in colors, belted, hooded, pocketed, ALL are in! In the most daring, funky and fun way possible. They probably are the best layering gimmick and style statement right now. If you’re not quite ready to grasp the total concept of winter, ease yourself into it gently, through autumn’s most practical fashion trend: The long cardigan!
Since I’m not completely in terms with winter (I’m guessing, I’ll never be!) I opted for the safe bet! I’m practically draped in all things pretty, and yet I could keep it stylish! Who would’ve thought? I’ve layered a long knit cardigan on a cute top over a ripped skirt. The top was pretty long which, almost covered my ripped mini skirt. Paired with this look is a warm, cozy stockings, and a patent booties in nude. I’ve added the fun element in the form of a statement necklace to break out from the traditional winter look. I’m just delighted with the way this look turned out ♥♥♥
