Hello, lovely people!! How are you all? I know its been a looong time since I posted but,
I had commitments which, needed more attention at that point. I know its Wednesday and its the post day so, I’m back with my much awaited post, straight from the streets of San Francisco, California. As you all might know (if you had read my previous post) that I was in California for a wedding, this post was supposed to be sooner but, my apologies for the delay. It was really an amazing weekend with friends, family, and great food! Since, it was a wedding weekend, it was more fun than ever. Dressing up was so much fun, I wore a saree, an Indian attire for the actual ceremony and a pink sweetheart dress for the reception. I’ll post both the looks as soon as possible, I’m still waiting for some pictures.
These pictures were captured in various parts of San Francisco but, majority of them were shot in Sausalito. Sausalito is a San Francisco Bay Area city in Marin County, California. We had to take a ferry that runs between the mainland this city. It takes about 30-45 minutes to get there. It is situated near the northern end of the Golden Gate Bridge, and it combines hillside with shoreline. It is a picturesque city, a tourist hotspot, and perfect place to take great photographs. We managed to get some pictures with the shoreline in the background, vintage cars, decks/piers, old alley and stairways, and I absolutely enjoyed the shoot. Sausalito being the tourist destination, there are a number of multi-cuisine restaurants, and some really good ones. We happened to eat at a thai restaurant, run by a family which, was nice.
Soon after our shoot, we made our way to the Golden Gate Bridge, I do not have a lot of pictures because, It became too chilly by them time we went there to catch the sunset, and I couldn’t pose for the camera without letting my teeth chatter!! Nevertheless, It was an awesome weekend, and I had a great time, I will definitely visit again. And, as far as my outfit goes, I decided to keep it more casual and street style this time. Sporting here is a cream lace top underneath a yellow chambray blazer (The blazer was to keep me warm but, it certainly failed, big time). Also, it was added to amp up the look with a pop of colour. Paired with the light faded denims for more casual look. I teamed this look with my favourite shoes and my new favourite colour-block, mini bucket bag. You all know how I love big-chunky earrings, initially I had pearl earrings, something simple, and small. Then I went big and adorned these gorgeous leaf earrings in golden yellow with pearl drops. I like the fusion of ethnic with western and I always mix up things when, most of them are scared to do so. I totally dig this look because it is very casual, and chic. Let me know how you like this look!! Waiting to read your comments! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
