Hello everyone!! Are you ready for today’s post? i’m going to be transitioning to fall colours through this post. On day 1, shots were captured on Liberty island, Brooklyn bridge, and around Lower Manhattan. So, let’s talk about my second day in new York!
Day 2: Central park, and 5th avenue
Ok! It all began with bright autumn colours, and a gorgeous day. It was so pleasant but, we were all drained out walking around from the previous day and felt the urge to eat to regain the energy. So, we started our day with a big, hefty, South Indian breakfast/brunch at Saravanaa Bhavan, a famous Indian restaurant, with some authentic dishes. Trust me, we were happy and content at that poiny!! We decided to take the subway to the Central park for more shots. We managed to capture some shots in the subway, lucky for us, it was a Sunday, and the subway was fairly empty.
As we made our entrance into the park, I met this cute little snowball, his name is chief! 🙂 How cute, right? For the love of dogs, I didn’t feel like getting out of there, and I had to take some pictures with him!
It was quite a walk from the subway station to Central park but, oh-my-god!! Is Central park huge or what? All the hefty brunch we had, was burned down in no time! My husband had a crazy place in his mind where, he wanted to get a few shots, a place only he knew! We walked for an hour hoping to find that spot but, sheer disappointment. Then, we ditched the idea of walking and managed to get a cab to the main entrance of the central park. Few steps ahead, there it was!! The perfect spot!
With more pictures on the line, I sported a tailored shift dress, in multi-colour prints. It reminded me of the gorgeous fall colours. Paired with this dress, is a ballerina flats in mustard (Please excuse me if you’re able to see my shoe skins, I had a terrible shoe bite and I had to wear it), a black cross body bag, and hoops for a minimalistic look.
Finally, It was a wrap! We then, made our way back to the airport through 5th avenue, drooling over all the designer brands, and soon it was goodbye New York!! But, don’t worry, there is one last post with more pictures from New York, before I tell you my Maui story. Stay tuned, and follow me on Instagram! 🙂 Let me know your thoughts on this look!! ♥
