⌈⌋Going green in Palazzos⌊⌉

August 12, 2015

8Hello lovelies!! Hope you’re all doing awesome! I have news for you all, guess what??

Two things, a) I’m going to do more summer loving outfits with a few more crop tops paired with different pieces. I want to show how you can experiment with something as basic as a crop top and amp up the glam quotient. I cannot stress upon this more, crop tops are a wardrobe must-have!!! I could swear on Loboutins and state that “I can put together so many different outfits with just using crop tops” and I wouldn’t be lying. Because, I can 🙂 Well, b) I know my posts aren’t frequent off-late but henceforth, it’s going to be every Wednesdays and Saturdays or whenever I’ve outfits for a new post 🙂 I’m excited!!! Are you??

So, this post is for the love of summer. I have been meaning to do a post on this outfit for a long time now but, I had other outfits in mind and, this one just hung in my closet. Now, it is time for me to showcase this trend after, I saw one of my blogger friend posted her look. What’s the trend, you ask? Palazzo pants!!! They are also called wide-leg pants/trousers. Like most of you, i’m drawn towards loose, flowing fabrics especially, during summer. This one just does the deed for me. And, as most popular trends of early ’60s and ’70s tend to crawl back into current fashion, palazzos have made a comeback this season and its a big hit!! Fashion bloggers are in love with this trend. I have come across so many fashion blogs featuring this trend and I must say, those bloggers look stunning in their palazzo pants. It just adds a bit of glam, yet a completely effortless outfit.

I picked a solid colour for this outfit by sporting a green, chiffon, palazzo pants with a white crop top. Palazzo pants can be paired with almost any kind of top you got in your closet. I chose a fitted crop-top because, it complements the flowy fabric and accentuates my figure. I’m inclined towards having a minimalistic approach to my style and my outfits so, I tend to keep it simple when it comes to accessorising. I have paired this look with a gothic spike earring in gold, green and orange; and a rose-gold watch. I went with a ankle-strap pumps in white. You can also, team it up with a lace/crochet top, loose tank tops, bold-graphic tee, tuck in a button down shirt/ a denim shirt or throw on a light cardigan. Go crazzzyy!! Will do a future post (when its about time!!) on how you can wear palazzos during those cold, dull, depressing season 😀
